Therapeutic Approach

I believe that therapy is a safe space for individuals to be heard and explore their strengths while working to achieve positive change and reach their full potential. I see my role as a guide in the therapeutic process to assist individuals on the journey of self-discovery.

I believe all individuals come to therapy with their own unique perspectives, values, beliefs, and coping abilities. I use these experiences as well as current research in the field to draw from approaches that best match each client’s needs, strengths and goals for therapy. My therapeutic approaches include; play and art therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, solution-focused therapy, person-centered and family-systems.
